Telegram is where many creators and experts share video content — business tutorials, mini-courses, niche clips. If you want to back up your own channel or save content from channels you follow for offline access, this guide covers the practical bulk download workflow.
Common Use Cases
- Backing up your own Telegram channel before migrating platforms
- Saving videos from groups or channels you've joined for offline viewing
- Aggregating content from multiple channels into a personal library
Method 1 — Telegram Desktop Built-in Export
Telegram Desktop (PC/Mac) has an Export Chat History feature built in:
- Open Telegram Desktop → go to the channel
- Click the channel name (top bar) → Export chat history
- Select file types: check Video files
- Choose save folder → Export
Pros: Built-in, free, exports all videos in the chat/channel.
Limitation: Only works for channels/groups you admin or have joined. Doesn't work for channels you only view without joining.
Method 2 — Individual Videos Via @KlypioBot
For specific videos in a public Telegram channel, forward the video to @KlypioBot to get a downloadable file. Or copy the message link and send it to the bot.

Method 3 — Klypio Batch for Link Lists
If you have a list of video links from a Telegram channel (in the format t.me/channelname/123), collect them into a text file, then use Klypio Pro's batch feature to download all at once.
See: how to download multiple videos at once.
Organizing After Bulk Download
After downloading, organize by channel and date:
Telegram/[ChannelName]/2026-05/- Name files:
[sequence]-[topic].mp4
