Free. When someone shares a video file in Discord — either uploaded directly or as an attachment — it's hosted on Discord's CDN. The catch: CDN links expire, typically within 24 hours. After that, the preview breaks and the link returns a 404, even though the message still shows in chat.
How to Save a Discord Video
Option 1 (fastest): Click on the video in Discord and click the download icon in the corner. Discord lets you download attachments directly — this works as long as the CDN link hasn't expired yet.
Option 2 — if the video is a YouTube, TikTok, or Facebook link shared in Discord:
Copy the original platform link (not the Discord CDN link) and paste into the right tool:
- YouTube → klypio.com/tools/youtube-downloader
- TikTok → klypio.com/tools/tiktok-downloader
- Facebook → klypio.com/tools/facebook-video-downloader
Can Klypio Download from Discord's CDN?
Klypio downloads from social media platforms, not Discord's CDN directly. For videos that were natively uploaded to Discord (not from an external platform), use Discord's built-in download button before the link expires — that's the fastest path.
