How to copy a Threads post URL
On mobile, tap the three-dot (…) menu on the post and select 'Copy link'. On desktop (threads.net), click the three-dot menu or copy the URL from the browser address bar. Both formats work with Klypio.
Public profile requirement
Threads only exposes content from public profiles to third-party requests. If the account is set to private, Klypio will return an access error — there is no workaround for private profiles.
Single post vs reply chain
To download a video in a reply, navigate directly to that reply post and copy its specific URL. Klypio processes the post the URL points to — not the entire thread above it.
Native Threads videos vs Instagram cross-posts
Threads allows cross-posting from Instagram. Both work with Klypio. For cross-posted content, the download may resolve to the Instagram source video, which is identical in quality.
Threads doesn't have Stories
Unlike Instagram, Threads does not have a Stories feature. If you're looking to download Instagram Stories, use the dedicated Instagram Downloader tool on Klypio instead.
Multiple videos in one post (carousel)
When a Threads post contains multiple videos in a carousel, Klypio currently downloads the first video in the sequence. Full carousel support with individual selection is on the roadmap.
