Requirements for AirDrop to Work
- Both iPhone and Mac must have Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enabled
- Both devices within range of each other (under 10 meters)
- AirDrop on Mac set to "Everyone" or "Contacts Only"
How to Enable AirDrop on iPhone and Mac
On iPhone
- Open Control Center (swipe down from top-right corner)
- Long-press the Wi-Fi/Bluetooth cluster
- Tap AirDrop → select "Everyone for 10 Minutes"
On Mac
- Open Finder → sidebar → click AirDrop
- Set "Allow me to be discovered by" → Everyone

AirDrop One or a Few Videos
- Open the Photos app on iPhone
- Select the videos you want (long-press to select multiple)
- Tap the Share button (square with upward arrow)
- Choose AirDrop → select your Mac
- On Mac: click Accept → videos save to the Downloads folder

Select all desired videos in Photos → Share → AirDrop → Mac. AirDrop transfers all files in one go — no need to send one at a time.
Organizing Videos After Receiving on Mac
AirDropped videos land in ~/Downloads by default. Create a structured archive folder:
