On Android, downloading files to a local folder is straightforward. On iPhone, it's more involved — but totally doable. Here's how to download TikTok videos and save them to the Files app on iOS.
How to Save to Files App on iPhone
Step 1: Open the TikTok video you want. Tap Share → select "Copy link".
Step 2: Open Safari on iPhone → go to klypio.com/tools/tiktok-downloader → paste the link and tap download.
Step 3: When the MP4 download button appears, long-press it → select "Download Linked File". Safari will ask where to save it in the Files app.
Step 4: Pick a folder in iCloud Drive or On My iPhone → tap Save. The watermark-free MP4 will appear in your Files app.
Why Use Safari Instead of Chrome?
Safari on iOS is natively integrated with the Files app — when you download via Safari, you can choose the destination folder directly. Chrome on iOS doesn't support this; it typically saves to Photos or doesn't offer folder selection at all.
Save to iCloud to Sync With Mac
If you save to iCloud Drive in the Files app, the video automatically syncs to Mac and iPad. Useful for editing on iMovie or CapCut on a bigger screen.
