You missed a VTV documentary, want to rewatch a VTC news program, or simply want an offline copy of Vietnamese TV content. VTV Go and VTC make much of their content freely available — and Klypio lets you save it for personal offline use.
Scope note: This guide covers personal archiving of free-to-air content only — programs that are publicly available without a paywall. It does not apply to VTV Go premium content.
What Are VTV Go and VTC?
VTV Go is the online streaming platform of Vietnam Television, offering live broadcasts and on-demand replays (VOD) of VTV channel content. Many programs are free to access.
VTC (Vietnam Digital Television) similarly offers free-to-air content on web and mobile apps.
How to Archive Free-to-Air Programs
Klypio supports video saving from Vietnamese broadcast platforms. Steps:
- Open the program you want to archive on VTV Go or VTC
- Copy the URL from your browser's address bar
- Paste into klypio.com/app or send to @KlypioBot
- Select quality and download
If the direct URL doesn't work, try Klypio's Chrome Extension — it detects the playing video and adds a download button directly on the page.
Building a Personal Vietnamese TV Archive
Many Klypio users build personal archives of their favorite programs — morning news, Vietnamese dramas, documentaries — for offline viewing or long-term preservation when content gets removed from platforms.
Suggested folder structure:
TV/VTV/Documentaries/TV/VTC/News/2026-05/
