Replay.io is a favorite tool for developers and gamers who want to record and review their own gameplay or debug sessions. But as your replay library grows, cloud storage limits become a real concern — and you don't want to lose recordings of your own sessions.
This guide covers how to bulk-save your own Replay.io gameplay clips to your local machine efficiently.
Why You Should Save Your Own Replay.io Clips
- Replay.io storage limits vary by plan — older replays may be deleted when storage is full
- You want to create highlight reels from your own gameplay sessions
- Local backup keeps your own content safe long-term
- Share your gaming clips with a team or publish to YouTube/TikTok
How to Export Your Gameplay From Replay.io
Step 1 — Get share links from your Replay.io dashboard
Open your Replay.io dashboard, select the replay you want to save, and click Share to get the public link or direct file link to your own replay session.
Step 2 — Use Klypio to batch-download
If Replay.io provides direct MP4 links for your sessions, paste those links into klypio.com/app for download. With a Pro account, you can process multiple links simultaneously — no need to download one at a time.
Step 3 — Name files systematically
After downloading, name files with a consistent format: replay-io-[date]-[session-name].mp4. Example: replay-io-2026-05-01-debug-login-flow.mp4. This makes finding your own clips much easier later.
Organize Your Local Replay Library
Set up a folder structure by project or by month:
replays/2026-05/— your clips organized by monthreplays/project-name/— debug clips by projectreplays/highlights/— your best clips for highlight reels
