Streamlabs is a go-to platform for streamers, and its Cloud Recording feature makes saving your own streams effortless — no complicated local setup required. But cloud storage has limits, and when you're nearing capacity, your own recordings may get deleted to make room.
Here's a practical walkthrough for bulk-downloading your own Streamlabs Cloud recordings to keep them safe locally.
When Should You Save Your Streamlabs Cloud Recordings?
- Your cloud storage is nearly full — you need space for new recordings of yours
- You want to edit highlights from your own stream recordings
- Backing up before changing or canceling your Streamlabs plan
- You want to publish clips from your own recordings to YouTube or TikTok
How to Export Your Own Recordings From Streamlabs Cloud
Step 1 — Go to your Streamlabs Cloud dashboard
Log in to your Streamlabs account and navigate to the Cloud Recordings section. Here you'll see all the recordings you've saved to the cloud.
Step 2 — Download recordings or grab direct links
Streamlabs lets you download individual recordings via a Download button. If you need to save many recordings, grab the direct link for each of your recordings.
Step 3 — Use Klypio to batch-process
Paste your recording links into klypio.com/app. With a Pro account, you can process multiple links at the same time instead of one by one — a significant time-saver when you have dozens of recordings.
Organizing Your Recordings After Download
Once your own recordings are on your local machine, organize them by stream date or series:
- Naming:
streamlabs-[YYYYMMDD]-[stream-name].mp4 - Separate folders by game or stream topic
- A
highlights/subfolder for the best clips from your recordings
