You're scrolling Instagram and a Reel catches your ear — a perfect track, a unique sound, or a voiceover you want to reference. Instagram doesn't offer an audio export option, but it's still possible to get the MP3. Here's how.
Why Instagram Doesn't Let You Download Audio
Instagram allows saving Reels to your personal collection, but there's no "export as audio" option. The reason is music licensing — tracks used on Instagram are licensed specifically for the platform, not for general redistribution.
How to Extract Audio From Reels With Klypio
Step 1: Open Instagram, find the Reel you want. Tap the three-dot menu (···) → Copy Link.
Step 2: Go to klypio.com/instagram-reels-downloader. Paste the link into the input field.
Step 3: Download the Reel as an MP4 video. Then use a free converter to extract the audio track to MP3 — or use the video file directly if you just need the audio as reference.
Klypio Pro also supports direct MP3 output from video links. See klypio.com/pricing for details.
Faster: Use the Telegram Bot
Paste the Reel link into @KlypioBot on Telegram and the bot returns the file in chat — no browser needed. Great for batch audio extraction.
Copyright Note
Music in Reels is typically under label copyright. Personal offline listening is generally fine. Don't upload extracted audio to social platforms or use it in commercial projects without verifying the track's licensing first.
