The old workflow every time I found a good TikTok: copy the link → switch to browser → navigate to a download site → paste → wait → download. Over a minute per video. After building one iOS Shortcut, it's: Share Sheet → Shortcut → done in 2 seconds. Here's how to build it.
What You Need
- iPhone or iPad running iOS 16 or later
- Shortcuts app (built into iOS — no install needed)
- A Klypio account (free — for receiving the download link)
Building the TikTok Download Shortcut via Klypio
Step 1 — Create a New Shortcut
- Open the Shortcuts app → tap + in the top right
- Name it: "Download TikTok via Klypio"
Step 2 — Add a Receive Input Action
- Tap Add Action → search "Receive" → select Receive Input from Share Sheet
- In the action settings: set input type to URLs
Step 3 — Send Link to Klypio
- Add an Open URLs action
- URL:
https://klypio.com/app?url=[Shortcut Input] - This opens Klypio with the TikTok link pre-filled — you just tap download
Step 4 — Run from the Share Sheet
- In TikTok: tap Share → scroll down → tap Shortcuts → select "Download TikTok via Klypio"
- The Shortcut opens Klypio with the link already filled in → tap download
Even Simpler: Combine with @KlypioBot
If you already use Telegram: build a Shortcut that sends the TikTok link directly to @KlypioBot — no browser needed, the MP4 file arrives in Telegram chat.
Android automation: Tasker Android auto-download TikTok. Download TikTok on iPhone: TikTok download on iPhone guide.
Try it: klypio.com/app or @KlypioBot.
