Your podcast RSS feed is an XML file containing all your show's information: title, description, episode list, audio links, and metadata. This is the backbone that apps like Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and others use to display and distribute your show.

How to Export Your Podcast RSS Feed
Step 1 — Get your RSS feed URL
Every hosting platform provides an RSS feed URL for your show. Examples:
- Anchor/Spotify for Podcasters: Go to Settings → RSS feed
- Buzzsprout: Dashboard → Statistics → RSS Feed
- Podbean: Settings → Feed Settings
- Libsyn: Destinations → RSS
Step 2 — Save the RSS XML file
Open your RSS feed URL in a browser → Ctrl+S → save the XML file. This is a complete copy of all your episode metadata and audio links.
Step 3 — Bulk download your audio files
From the RSS XML, you can extract all MP3 audio links and download them in bulk:
- Open the XML file and find all

Step 4 — Export episode metadata

When switching to a new podcast host:
- Import your RSS feed into the new host
- Set up a redirect from your old host pointing to the new feed — critical for retaining subscribers
- Update Apple Podcasts and Spotify via their respective dashboards to point to your new feed
